listening
surround your struggles
in your love

in Mine.

The courage to put out leaves
to let them fill with
self and hope
to receive
life and nourishment
and joy
for a season
and then fall.
Roots are easy
deep within
you can grow
with only
rot and vermin
to fear
Draw up strength my love
leaves are necessary
be brave.
