I intend

/ Poetry / By Sophia Kelly - Writer

I intend to
be honourable
to tell the truth
to be vulnerable in the service of intimacy, beauty and pleasure
to care for your roots
to be honourable with your loved ones
to behave well toward them and toward you.
I intend to ground you
to hold space for you to be as big or small as you need to be.
to share openly with you who I am
to embrace all of you.
